Macros

Hi there,

I am using two unconnected machines, still to do my Project updating. I was attemping to write some Macros on one of them (which worked ok on the other one..) and was informed i do not have the correct key to keep the signature, therefore thde signature will be removed.

What this did, was, keep the Macro 'skeleton' but corrupted the data inside it, all indentations were in the correct places, but the lines of text have mostly disappeared.

Any ideas?

Thank you

RE: Macros

Hi Hannah

Thankyou for your question

My first thought is that the installation of project on one of your machines may be corrupted.

I suggest you email a copy of the project file to infoATmicrosofttrainingDOTnet and i'l try and run it on one of our machines. (Mark it for my attention)

Hope your well

Regards

Stephen

MS Project tip:

Avoid Accidental Constraints

The initial default table is the Entry table. Enter a task name and duration, but do not enter start or finish dates. Form the plan using links, predecessors. Typing dates introduces constraints. To remove these constraints, double click on a task, and on the Advanced page of Task Information set the constraint back to As Soon As Possible (all other options are there too.)
