How to count blank cells?

RE: excel 2007 counting blank cells

Dear Caroline

I beleive this quetions was posted when you entered the same question while providing feedback.

I have already answered your question that you might have asked while doing the exercise with the trainer for the delegate support question.

I just wanted to clarify that if you have posted a question in the delegate support forum in the exercise that the trainer takes you through then you DO NOT have to post another question t the time when you are providing the feedback.

This is normally optional and can be left blank. It is only for those delegates who might have forgotten or may not have a question to post earlier in the day and might want to post a question right at the end of the day.

I apologise for any misunderstanding and hopefully if you do any future training with us then you'd know the procedure and would not have to put the question twice. You may even tell one of the other delegates in the course not to make the same mistake.

I hope the reply I posted for your original question has been helpful and helped you in achieving what you wanted to.

I would request you to kindly mark this post as resolved as it's a duplicate post.

The other post that I replied to earlier please mark that as resolved if you are hapy with the result . If however you need further clarification then please do not hesitate to press the reply button and ask the relevant question to clarify your doubts. If you could provide some kind of real life example then may be I can have a clear idea as to what is it that you are trying to achieve.

Thank you for your time and co-operation.

Kindest Regards

Excel tip:

Apply currency format quickly in Excel

To quickly apply the currency format to cell in your spreadsheet, select (highlight) the cells you wish to apply currency format to, then use Ctrl + Shift + $

This will apply a pounds symbol even though the $ key is pressed.
