Calendars
How do I create a new calendar and then assign that to a specific task?
RE: Calendars
Hi Michael
Thanks for your question. First make your calendar. From the Tools menu choose Change working time. At the bottom of the dialogue box click New, name your calendar and click OK.
Modify your calendar as necessary. Then go to your task and double click it. On the Advanced tab, at the bottom you will find a drop down that allows you to choose the calendar that applies to this task and whether or not the calendar should over-ride calendars associated with assigned resources.
I hope this is helpful - do let us know if we can be of further help.
Kind regards,
Andrew
RE: Calendars
Hi Michael
Thanks for your question.
Try this - go to Tools > change working time > and click on the new button, naming your calendar as you wish. When you click on OK you can now modify your calendar's working and non working time.
Finally close your dialogue boxes and double click on a task. Go to the advanced tab and towards the bottom of the screen you will see a drop down calendar selector. Use this to choose the calendar you created.
I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew
