How do I export to excel so I can email out to people?
RE: Exporting
Hi Jack
One way of doing this would be to click on the blank square between the rows and columns - this selects all of your tasks. From the edit menu choose copy task then switch to Excel.
From the edit menu in Excel choose copy > paste special. In dialog box click OK and you will find you now have a Gantt chart in your sheet. Excel users can now see your chart and if they also have Project installed they can double click on the chart to see the underlying project data.
I hope this is helpful - do let us know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:Avoid Accidental ConstraintsThe initial default table is the Entry table. Enter a task name and duration, but do not enter start or finish dates. Form the plan using links, predecessors. Typing dates introduces constraints. To remove these constraints, double click on a task, and on the Advanced page of Task Information set the constraint back to As Soon As Possible (all other options are there too.) |
