RE: Excel - Watch Window
Dear Paul
Thank you for attending Excel Intermediate course.
Adding Watch is applied when the user doesn't want to scroll or move between sheets or workbooks and instantly wants to wants know the updated result in the resulting cell when there's been any any change/s made to the related cell. This could be a formula or a simple link and it can be applied to the same sheet, different sheet or completely different workbook.
There are various ways to apply the watch.
The quickest way is to simply right-click on the cell that contains the link or the formula and choose Add Watch from the shortcut menu.
If you have many cells that you wish to apply the watch:
Step 1: Right-click any of the toolbars at the top and choose Watch Window from the list of toolbars.
Step 2: Select al the cells that you wish to apply the Add watch
Step 3: Click the Add Watch button
All the cells will be added to the Watch Window.
When you choose Formula Auditing Toolbar there is a button called Show Watch Window
Once the Watch Window appears you can perform the same actions mentioned above.
I hope that this answers your question.
If your question is specifically about the keyboard shortcut for Watch Window then I am sorry I don
