Is it possible to get ready made excel templates & designs to input inot me own databases?

RE: Excel

Dear Brona

Thank you for attending the Excel Introduction course.

Yes it is quiet possible to use the ready made templates that Microsoft provides and customize them to your needs. They do help to save time and energy and are also professionally created by professionals @ Microsoft.

Some of the common ones such as invoices etc... can be found when you click on
File > New...

Then on the Task pane (An area on the right hand side of the screen) choosing templates on my computer...
Then choosing the spreadsheet solutions tab at the top. You can see templates such as Balance sheet, Expense Statement, sales Invoices, time cards, etc..

However if you'd like to see many more templates you can simply click on the templates on office online link above the templates on my computer. As long as you are connected to internet it will straight away take you to the link where you can search for more specific templates such as TO Do list, personal/ business Budgets, etc....

I hope this helps

Kindest Regards

Excel tip:

Turn Function tooltips on and off

Excel 2002 (XP) and Excel 2003 have the Function tooltips facility. When you type in a function name followed by a bracket, for example, =IF(, a yellow box appears beside the function name and lists the function's arguments. This is very useful when you can't quite remember the order of a function's arguments or what the arguments actually are!

However, Function tooltips can become annoying. To turn them off, choose Tools|Options. and select the General tab. Then, untick the Function tooltips box and choose OK.
