Leveling resources in master file

hi there,

when i open my resource pool and all attached projects i can now no longer level my resouces, thus amaking my gannt chart quite useless as it expects people to be working up to 48 hours a day!

Im now not sure whether it worked when i first tried it. I thought it did, but am now doubting myself! On the other hand, what i said before about the deadlines, and labeling 1-10 in text fields and sorting, the project is not even sorting my text1 field now at all!

Any ideas what may have happened from last week to this? I am still using two unconnected machines, but cannot think why this should cause a problem.

RE: leveling resources in master file

Hi Hannah

Thank you for your question

There seem to be a number of issues here and it is difficult to resolve the problems without seeing the files.

Can I suggest that you email them to

infoATMicrosofttrainingDOTNet

and I will have a look and get back to you

Regards

Stephen

MS Project tip:

Typing Links Between Tasks

In the Entry table, use the Precessors column to type in links. Type the previous task's ID to link. To change the link, add FS (Finish-Start), FF (Finish-Finish), and so on, and + duration to add a Lag, or - duration for a Lead time. Example: for task 5, 4FS+1w ... task 4 preceeds task 5, finish to start, with a week lag between.
