Chart Calcs

I am trying to use a 3-D Pie Chart using two figures, 71 and 417 which are 17% and 17% and 83% respectively. However when asking for Excel to add these values they pop up as 15% and 85% and I do not understand why or how to rectify this.

RE: Chart Calcs

Hi Bowen

Thank you for your question. To help us answer your question. We need a bit of clarification. It was stated you had 2 data values of 417 & 71 respectively and thie pie chart returns 85% & 15%, which is accurate according those figures. However then it was mentioned that you wanted percentages shown. Eg 17%, 17%, 83%. The question is how many data values do you have?

If the chart is only looking at 2 data values it will only show 2 percentages. Maybe look at your data series that are included in your chart data.

Please send us your data the chart is based on if you need need further assistance.

Look forward to hearing from you.

RE: Chart Calcs

Thanks Tom

I must've got carried away entering 17%. There are only two values, 71 & 417 and when I divide 17 by 417 it gives me 17%.

I'm happy to email the spreadsheet, it's pretty basic. Which email address?

Regards
Bowen
