What is the maximum amount of tables that can be present in any one database?
RE: Access
Hi Melissa
Interesting question.
I have looked into it and I think the number of tables in a database will be imposed by your operating system and the maximum file size allowed.
This means that the maximum number of tables of an average Windows XP based Access database is about 65,536 which, I think also includes the system tables (somewhere between 10 and 99).
If your database ever gets this big you should rethink the design.
