Conditional formatting
How do I conditional format a cell and then drag it down to other cells beneath it?
RE: Conditional formatting
Hi Andrew
Thank you for your question.
There are a couple of different ways of copying conditional formatting from one cell and applying it to other cells.
Option 1 is to select a cell that has the conditional formatting already applied to it, then click the Format Painter button (looks like a paint brush) on the Standard toolbar. Then highlight the cells you want to apply the conditional formatting to.
Option 2 is to select a cell that has the conditional formatting already applied to it, then Copy the cell. Then highlight the cells you wish to apply the conditional formatting to, go to Edit - Paste Special, choose Formats and click OK.
I hope this helps.
Amanda
