Is it possible to label a chain link. For example Task 1 is 'Create Building Plan' and Task 2 is 'Implement Building Plan.' The lag time would be the period in between awaiting responses. Could 'Awaiting responses from X,Y,Z' be placed next to the line linking Tasks A and B?
RE: Microsoft Project
Hi Adrian
I think your best bet would be to put the information into a note attached to the actual task.
Alternatively you could add a blank column to the table and type the information in there. There are a number of blank columns for text called text1, text 2 etc. You could insert one of those and change its heading to "Link Details" or something.
Do this by right clicking on a column head and selecting insert. A dialog will open and you can take it from there
All the best

MS Project tip:Inserting Task Durations QuicklyWhen entering durations for your tasks simply use the single letters - m for min, h for hr, d for day, w for week, but mon for month. If default is set for days, you need only type the number, for example 3 for 3days, or 0.5 for half a day. |
