Advanced filter

How do you use the advanced filter?

RE: advanced filter

Hi Katrin thank you for your question.

You need to first enter in a range of cells seperate fom your list your criteria. This is called your criteria range and needs to have the field name in the top row and your criteria below the relevent field.

Next you click an individual cell in your list and go to the Data, Filter, Advanced Filter and make sure your list is correct in your list range and then enter your criteria range in the appropriate box.

Finally select whether you want to filter list in place or in another location. Click OK to perform the filtering.

Thanks you for using the delegate support forum.

Regards

Excel tip:

Using basic functions without doing formulas

When you highlight figures Autocalc tells you the total in the bottom right of the screen, but if you right click on the sum it will give you some basic functions. The functions are Min, Max, Average, Sum, Count, and Count Nums.
