Alphabetical Sorting in tables

Hello

Can you please tell me if I can sort a list in a table alphabetically. Each name is in a new row.

Many thanks

RE: Alphabetical Sorting in tables

Hi Emma

A fairly simple way of sorting a table in dreamweaver is to select the rows from the column that you want to sort (please do not include any header rows) and then go to the commands option in the menu, select sort table and then select how you would like the table to be sorted.

Hope this helps

David

Dreamweaver tip:

JumpMenu in new window

When inserting a jumpmenu to a page, the only option available for 'open in' is usually 'main window'. There would be other options available if the page was a frameset.

To change the jumpmenu to open in a new window, change the target parameter of the selectbox in your code to 'window.open()'.

eg.

<select name="menu1" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('window.open()',this,0)">
