Lag times

I have totally forgotting everything regarding setting lag times, how do you enter lag times - thanks

RE: lag times

Hi Linzi

You add lag (and lead) time to the link that joins your tasks.
Double click on a link and from the dependency dialogue box that appears add the amount of lag you require.

If you make links between tasks by double clicking the task and choosing the predecessor tab you will see that when you choose your predecessor you can also specify lag or lead time.

I hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions

Kind regards,

Andrew

Change Single Cell Colour

Morning,
I wonder if you can advise me if it is possible to change the colour of a single "cell" when either a resource's time is overscheduled or if a particular part of a project is close to completion. Either automatically or manually.

We work with many projects here and resources are allocated to several projects at any one time and it would help if we could change the colour of the cell if several people need a particular resource to show that they are over resourced. This would be in the Resource Usage view.

I hope I have explained my query correctly?
