Automatically refreshing dataset and dashboard
Hey!
I am struggling to work out how to automatically refresh my PowerBI report and have the latest report automatically published to Power BI service.
My source data comes from Sharepoint, when I try and refresh the dataset in PowerBI service the dashboard does not update, I am having to manually refresh my report and re-publish from desktop everyday.
Please help!
Best,
Georgia
RE: Automatically refreshing dataset and dashboard
Hi Georgia,
Thank you for the forum question.
I personally do not have any experience with SharePoint data, but I found a solution by Google the issue.

Power BI tip:Scheduled Refresh and Power BI ServiceIf you're using Power BI Service, set up scheduled refresh for your datasets. This ensures that your reports are always up-to-date with the latest data. Understand the refresh limits imposed by Power BI Service and optimize your data model and queries to stay within those constraints. |
