Generate new tabs with contents similar to template tab
Please could you advise on a macro to generate multiple tabs with the same contents as an existing tab witch contains a report template.
The names of the new tabs should be the same as those listed in column B on the first tab of the file.
Column A on the first tab of the file has a list of full names which should go in cell A2 of the new generated tabs.
I suppose we need to use a loop command that would go through columns A and B of the first tab to get the names of the new tabs and the content of cell A2 on the new tab.
RE: generate new tabs with contents similar to template tab
Hi Lauren,
Thank you for the forum question.
The forum is for questions, it is outside the scope to develop code for clients. Normally in a situation like this I would ask the client to send me the code and then answer the client's questions about the specific code.
I have done the code you can use (please find attached file), but I am using VBA code above our Excel VBA introduction level, but I hope it makes sense.
Kind regards
Jens Bonde
