Paste link

how do I link workbooks on a national network?

RE: paste link

Hi Karen,

Thanks for the question.

You can link a worksheet to another worksheet by simply pressing the equals sign and locating a different workbook with your cursor and pressing enter. By doing that you create a link between the two workbooks, if the figure in one changes the link is updated in the source. You would have to keep the worksheets on the same network for this to work.

Hope that helps

Tracy

Excel tip:

3D formulas find and replace

After you know all the components of a 3D reference, you can change them to suit by using a localised Find and replace crt+f, if need be.
