Primary Key

Could you please give me a definition of what the 'primary key' is?

RE: Primary Key

Hi Anna,

Thank you for the question

A primary key is a field that is used to uniquely identify a record in a table. The primary key field also helps you to relate two tables.

Access tip:

Convert A Form Into A Report

If there is a form that you want to to save as a report:

1. Open that form in Design View
2. Select File and Save As
3. In the Save As Dialog box Select Report

The system creates a report based on the form.
