Project Introduction course
Project start dates / Project finish dates
When putting lots of individual projects into a master project can you have a mixture of projects setup.
E.g
Project A is set up with a project start date
Project B is set up with a project finish date
Both projects go into a master project will this work?
RE: Project start dates / Project finish dates
Hello Ross,
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can definitely insert multiple projects with different scheduling settings into your master project. However, they will still behave differently when you make changes to tasks, as they would in the source files.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards

MS Project tip:Formatting Bar TextTo display notes or resource initials on the Gantt chart bars, choose Format, Bar Styles and the Text tab. Select the position you want to show the text i.e. Top or Inside etc, then choose the field name you are looking for from the drop down arrow. Type the first letter of the name to get quickly to the top of the letter range. Click OK. |
