How can i post pivot tables on web pages?

RE: excel advanced

Hi Aristos

Thank you for your question.

You can save a spreadsheet displaying a pivot table as an html file, which can include interactivity so a person can modify the pivot table once the html file is posted on a web site.

You can do this by going to File - Save as Web Page. Choose to save the sheet, then you can tick the Add interactivity check box if you want people to be able to manipulate the pivot table. Then click the Publish button on the right. Choose to add Pivot Table functionality if you selected the check box in the previous dialogue box. Then choose the Open web page in browser box if you want to preview the html file in a web browswer, the click Publish.

Once this is done, you will need to upload the page to a web site if you want people to be able to access this page through the WWW.

I hope this helps.
Amanda
