Show total donations by category in 1 column - then show the sam

Show total donations by category in 1 column - then show the sam
My scenario is this:
- I have donations in a data table by campaign and type.
- I have a visualisation in a table which shows the total donations by campaign which is filtered by the type - the type is either cash or a pledge, cash being the real money!
I want have a slicer where the date range can be set to show the donations for 'last week'.
I want two columns in my visualisation, one showing the donations by campaign (filtered by type) for last week AND THEN another column in the visualisation showing the donations by campaign (filtered by type) UP TO the latest date in the slicer.
ie, the slicer says: Last week = 25/08/19 to 31/08/19
So, one column showing values for that week, then another column showing all values UP TO 31/08/19
Help please!!
RE: Show total donations by category in 1 column - then show the
Hi Christian,
Thank you for the forum question.
It is not an easy task what you want to achieve. I have created a datamodel which as far as I understand your dataset, should be very close to the data you have.
It is easy to filter by a date range (a specific week), but to partly ignore the slicer to filter up to last day of selected week is difficult.
I need a little more time to solve this.

Hi Jens,
Thanks for picking this one up. I can send you a copy of the 'old' excel template that was used for the KPI's that I've been asked to replicate. Maybe it will inspire a different way of presenting the numbers? (I can't see a way to attach documents here)
