OLE Object not accepting a screenshot
Hi All,
I have built a form to accept OLE Objects. Namely, I want users to drop a screen shot into the OLE object and then will be accepted into the table.
This works fine i have saved the object down and then "drag and dropped" the screen shot into the OLE window.
However, when i use snipping tool to just copy and paste the screenshot into the ole object, yes it saves the file into the main table but i cannot reopen the file?
I appreciate its very difficult to explain this over a forum, please let me know should you need further assistance.

RE: OLE Object not accepting a screenshot
Hi Manny,
Thank you for the forum question.
I have create a database. Created one table where one field has the data type OLE Object. From this table I have created a form.
I have created some png files using the snipping tool. I copied the png files and pasted them in the Ole object control on the form. The png images were saved in the table and I could open them both from the form and the table.
It works fine in my database.
Sorry but I cannot tell you why it is not working for you.
Kind regards
