whats the difference between power pivot and power BI?

RE: Pivoting

Hi Mohammad

Power BI has the same core functionality as PowerPivot or PowerView (2013). Rather than updating PowerPivot or PowerView, they just released the new features and rebranded it as Power BI.

New features include
Power Query for querying more data sources (Azure, Hadoop, etc)
Power maps that creates 3D Data maps based on Bing Maps.
Mobile Access through Windows 8+
Data Catalogue where models can be published to Sharepoint

Power BI only works on Office 365 and Excel 2013.
