Link completion of tasks to milestones
Hi,
Is it possible and how would I link the completion of a task to a milestone?
Thank you for your answer,
Claudia
RE: Link completion of tasks to milestones
Hi Claudia
Thank you for your question - MS Project doesn't have a setting that will mark off a milestone upon completion of a task. One alternative way of seeing progress might be to use the Tracking Gantt view. If your collection of tasks and milestone are part of a group or summary task then the Tracking Gantt view will show incremental progress at the summary bar level. When all the tasks in the group are complete the summary bar will indicate this.
I'm sorry I couldn't directly answer your question. Would this approach help to report progress in your plans?
Kind regards,
Andrew
