How do I share an access database between two networked computers so that any changes are saved? At the moment it is only opening as read only on one of the machines.
Thank you Sacha
RE: Access
Hi Sasha
Usually Access does let two users open a database from a shared folder.
One quick thing to try is to click the arrow to the right of the Open button in Access then choose Open.
It would be worth asking your IT help department whether the folder you are using is set up to allows multi user editing for Access files.
Sorry I can't be of more help for now.
Regards
Doug Dunn
