Microsoft Project
Interested to obtain progress line showing in advance of current date, where this currently does not occur for 100% complete tasks at a future date.
RE: Microsoft Project
Hi Gordon
Yes you can add a Progress Line not just to the current date but also for a date in the future.
First to create and display a Status Date on your project:
1. Select Project, Project Information.
2. From the Status Date field choose a date ahead of the current date.
To display the Status Date click Format, Gridlines, Gridlines.
Choose Status Date and change the Type to a solid line.
The Status Line should now show on the Gantt Chart.
To add a Progress Line
1. Select Format, Gridlines, Progress Lines.
2. On the right section tick Display and enter the Status Date created above.
The Progress Line shows which tasks are falling behind or ahead of schedule at the status date.
Hope that helps for now.
Regards
Doug Dunn
