Formulas
I would like to know the basic rules that a worksheet must adheer to for formulas to work. Very often I have the correct formul but it won't work because my spreadsheet is probably not in the correct fomat.
RE: Formulas
Hi Sara,
The basic rules for a formula to work is when you are in an empty cell the first thing you must press is = then you continue without spaces to insert you formula. Normally cell references are used, for example =A1+B1.
Can I ask what function or formula you are using, you may find the function itself has the wrong arguments in it, also what type of error message are you getting?
Let me know
