Linking workbooks

If you wanted to link 2 tables located in different workbooks, do the columns of each table have to be titled the same?

I have a table in one workbook, the last column of which needs to update the table on another workbook.
Is the linking done as you would normally link 2 workbooks?

RE: Linking workbooks

Hello Genta,

Thank you for your question regarding Linking workbooks.

If you want to link 2 tables in different workbooks, the column headings do not need to be the same. And yes, the linking is done in the same way as normal.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
