I have a form that I wish people to add to and this may be at the same time.

Thanks for getting in touch. Access was designed this way from the ground up. There are a few methods available to you dependent on what's available to you.
This Microsoft article lists your choices very clearly with pros and cons for each. For the least amount of hassle storing the database in a shared folder / network drive is the most straightforward.
