How can I make two tables to be side by side in word 2010 so they are both selected when I press select table?
RE: Tables
Hi Ranata
If you have two separate tables they can both be selected as follows:
1. Select the first table.
2. Press Ctrl and click on the table selector (top left icon) of the second table.
This works for simple formatting such as bold, font size and borders. However many options on the Table Tools Layout tab are not available such as distribute columns or text alignment.
An alternative is to have one table with no borders for the middle column. It would then appear as two tables and easy to format in one go.
Hope that helps for your example.

Doug Dunn
