Disable password alert

Hi,

I have a new master spreadsheet linked to password protected spreadsheets. When I open the master sheet, immediately alerts requesting the passwords to each of the linked spreadsheets come up.
Is there a way of disabling this so that i only need to enter the passwords when i wish to update the links?

Many Thanks

Raani

RE: disable password alert

Hi Raani

Thanks for getting in touch. To disable this prompt, on your master sheet go to the Data menu and choose Edit Links. Click the button Startup Prompt and you can choose when the links will be updated.

Kind regards
