Thank you

RE: Excel
Hello Sheila,
Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Excel Intermediate course with Best STL.
Thank you for your question regarding a shortcut for inserting today's date into a cell.
CTRL + ; (semi-colon) will enter today's date
CTRL + SHIFT + : (colon) will enter current time
You can also use a function to enter today's date and this is :
=TODAY()
Using a function however, will always update the date to today's date whenever you open a file.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Rodney

Excel tip:Closing all your workbooks QuicklyHold the SHIFT key down and using the mouse click on the file menu, it will now now CLOSE ALL rather than close. This closes all workbooks down but still leaves the application open. |
