Look at total availability for month

I want to see a column with resource's total availability per month, not just remaining.
Is there a way to see this? I have addded annual leave for certain indvicudual resources and I want to extract the total available days they have per month for some work I am doing in excel. So far I am using the data from work and adding it to thje remianing availability but is there one simple area I can copy this data from?

RE: Look at total availability for month

Hi Emma

Thank you for your question. A view that might help is the Resource Usage view.

First switch to Resource usage and right click on the right hand table you can add the remaining availability field

Next zoom out to show the timescale in months. This will now show availability by month for each of your resources.

Let me know if this helps or if you have further questions.

Kind regards,
Andrew

RE: Look at total availability for month

Thanks Andrew, it was the total availability not remaining but I found this in Resource Usage like you when I right clicked, selected 'details styles' and selected work availability.
Thanks, Emma

MS Project tip:

Using the Quick Access Toolbar in Project 2010

The Quick Access Toolbar is included in virtually every Office product, including Project 2010 as well as Outlook 2010, Word 2010, Excel 2010, and PowerPoint 2010.

You will find the Quick Access Toolbar in the top-left side of the window. To begin, click the Customize button (it's the little black arrow at the end of the toolbar).

Simply click the commands you want to include.

Virtually any command can be added to the Quick Access Toolbar. Click the More Commands option and a new window will open from where you can browse the commands including those not on the ribbon.
