how to calculate exact number of days. "Days360" only refers to 12 months with 30 days. If the formula is changed to "Days365" the formula does not work.

Hi Michaela

Thanks for getting in touch. Counting with dates is quite straightforward; subtract one date from another. So if your end date is in cell A1 and start date is in cell B1, in C1 you can find out the difference with:

=A1-B1

If you need to find out only the week days, you can use:

=NETWORKDAYS(A1,B1)

Excel tip:

Hiding and unhiding columns using the keyboard

CTRL + 0 hides your columns and CTRL + SHIFT + ) unhides them although you would need to highlight the column letters either side as per normal
