Excel Add ins

We have just changed to Microsoft Office 2010 from 2007 & was using a Morefunc add-in function called "Threed" on one of our spreadsheets. This now does not seem to be compatible with 2010, is there something else we can use?
We need figures from various sheets in a workbook on different rows (but with the same dept number) to be picked up on a summary sheet.

RE: Excel Add ins

Hi Lisa

Thanks for getting in touch. There shouldn't be any compatibility issues with Add-Ins, however you might want to check that the Add-In has been re-enabled on the 2010 installation.

Go to File > Options > Add-Ins, click Go at the bottom and ensure your Add-In is ticked. If it is not displayed in this list, you might have to browse your folders for the Add-In. After re-enabling the Add-In, restart Excel.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Excel tip:

Enter formulae into multiple cells

If a formula is to be used in a series of cells, select the cells first. Now type in your formula and hold the Ctrl key while you press Enter. This enters the formula in each selected cell.

Just be careful with your absolute and relative cell references.
