Email Outlook
I have a database to manage subscriptions. The purpose of the databae is to store a list of users per subscription and send out an email alert before the renewal date to the administrators of the subscription list. The database will be used with Microsoft Outlook.
Do you know how I can setup the database to send out an email alert?
RE: Email Outlook
Hello Matthew,
The ability of using Access as your data storage and Outlook to send from is a common practice. Unfortunately, this requires coding of both applications to achieve.
However, I would recommend you look in the area of VBA coding of Access to email directly through Outlook.
There should be a number of routines available from the Internet, most of which would not require you to learn how to program!
I hope this helps point you in the right direction of your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Mark
