How do I filter records using the toolbar options
RE: Access
Jane, You can filter in two ways.
There is a section of filter commands on the toolbar when you are in datasheet view.
BY SELECTION
Simply highlight the text you would like to filter by, and then choose the FILTER BY SELECTION toolbar icon.
BY FORM
When you click on this icon, then a form will appear where you can enter the search criteria. Clicking the filter button will then apply the filter.
ON/OFF
The plain filter button switches the filter you have created on and off.
