Drop down boxes
Is there a keyboard short cut to access a drop down box within a cell so you don't have to click on it?
RE: Drop down boxes
Short answer is no, sorry ;)
RE: Drop down boxes
Hi Helen, is it your own workbook & drop down list / box?
If so you could create a Macro which would take you straight to the actual cell containg the drop down box / list. If, that's IF you know what is on your list, continue to type in the box then just hit the return key.

Excel tip:Counting Non Number Cells (Text)If you try to use the COUNT FUNCTION =COUNT(Cell range)with a range of cells with numbers and or containing text fields you wil find that that the text cells will be excluded from the the count. If you want to include them try the the COUNTA FUNCTION =COUNTA(Cell range). This counts both text and number cell values. |
