Linking

We touched on linking tables into Powerpoint. I work with a lot of excel tables housing data that I transpose into presentations. The data needs to be updated fairly regularly. I'd be grateful to have a bit more time on this with a trainer if possible.

RE: Linking

Hi Melanie, when you say a bit more time on this with a trainer do you mean on the forum post or would you like to arrange more training?

thanks
Paul

Excel tip:

Sorting data stored in rows

Primarily Excel is set up to sort data that is stored in columns rather than rows.

It is possible to get Excel to sort data stored in rows however.

Click in the row you want to sort, or select the cells in the rows you wish to sort.

Go to Data - Sort, then go to the Options button in the bottom left corner of the Sort dialogue box.
