how to i attach an email to my project
RE: microsoft project 2010
Hi Neil
Thank you for your question. The email would have to be saved out of Outlook as a file - you can do this by opening the message and choosing File > Save as and saving as outlook message format or perhaps html (if you can create pdfs then this would also be an option)
In Project you can double click a task and on the notes tab choose the Insert Object button, choose the Create from file option and browse to find your document. Tick the box to display as and icon then choose OK.
Now the attached document can be read by double clicking the icon in notes.
I hope this helps - do let us know if you need any further information.
Kind regards,
Andrew

MS Project tip:Inserting Task Durations QuicklyWhen entering durations for your tasks simply use the single letters - m for min, h for hr, d for day, w for week, but mon for month. If default is set for days, you need only type the number, for example 3 for 3days, or 0.5 for half a day. |
