how to nest OR-function into SUMIFS.

Hi,

To help me understand this, can you please explain why you want to do that and include what result you would want in the sumif cell.

I wanted a formula to look something like this
sumifs(sumrange, creteria range_1,CRITERIA_1(SUBCRITERIA_1 or SUBCRITERIA_2),...............)
I have a few criterias to chose from but i one of them I need to celect two "names" for summaring.

please let me know if I wasn't clear.

When you get a series of hash symbols (####) appearing in some of your cells in a spreadsheet, this can make you think that you've make some kind of mistake.

This is a common misconception - what this actually means is that the cell is not wide enough to fully display the content of the cell.

All you need to do to see what is actually in the cell is to widen the column that the cell is in.
