Excel: Joining boxes using "Drawing"
Hi to all that read this as I have only joined today. My very first question on this site is on MS Excel 2003. You can join 2 normal rectangular boxes on a worksheet by using the Drawing lines. I am doing MOS (Excel) & 1 of the questions is to join 2 boxes on a worksheet, how do you join them as I can't find the Drawing (line) option like 2003 has?
Thanks
Baz
RE: Excel: Joining boxes using "Drawing"
Hi
No quite I know what you mean but if you mean you are trying to join two boxes that have been inserted using SHAPES then you can use the arrows or connectors on from the DRAWING TOOLBAR. To access this toolbar on your file menu select VIEW, then TOOLBARS, the DRAWING.
Hope that helps.
Thanks
Paul

That solution was for 2003. For 2007 you need to click the INSERT tab on your ribbon and then select SHAPES, there you will see the lines I think your after.
The only other thing you could mean is to merge to cells? If thats the case then select the MERGE button on your ribbon which is found on the HOME tab.
Thanks
Paul
