When writing text into a cell, how can I decrease the size of the text so that it does not alter the size of my cell?
RE: Text
Hello Elise,
Typing text in an excel cell will not alter the size of the cell unless you have the Word Wrap turned on for that cell. So, you need to turn off Word Wrap for the cells (Format menu, Cells, from dialog choose the Format tab).
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

Have a great day.
