Is it possible to merge 2 excel spreadhseets so that the one spreadsheet can be produced taking the date from a number of spreasheetd?

RE: Excel

Hello Anna,

Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Excel Introduction course with Best STL.

Thank you for your question regarding merging two Excel spreadsheets.

Spreadsheets are never merged. What I think you want to do is link two spreadsheets using a formula.

Let's say that in spreadsheet 1 cell A1 has a date of 12/06/2010 and you wish to put the same date in another cell on spreadsheet 2.

First, in spreadsheet 2 click on the cell where the date has to go and press the = (equals) button on your keyboard. Then select spreadsheet 1 and click on cell A1 (where the date is) and press enter. The cell in spreadsheet 2 now will have the same as spreadsheet 1 and is linked through the formula.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
