Hi

If I have protected a workbook with a password, is it possible to go in and change the password?

Thanks
Bhanu

RE: Excel

Hi Bhanu,

I presume you mean to open the workbook. If so, then yes you can but you will need the old password.

Enter SAVE AS, on the top right hand side of the save box you will see an option TOOLS, click that and then go to GENERAL OPTIONS which is where your wordbook password is stored.

You will be able to change it from here.

RE: Excel

Great, thank you.
