Linking excel sheets to SAP

Can this be done?

RE: linking excel sheets to SAP

Hi Jamie

Good to meet you on Friday. I wasn't able to demo this on your Excel Advanced course. But Excel can definitely connect up with a SAP data source for pivot tables and running queries.

I've attached a pdf file with instructions for creating an Excel pivot table from a SAP data source. It contains how to include a login password which you asked about.

Hope that helps.
Regards
Doug

Excel tip:

View a unique list

You have a column with hundreds of entries, and you need to see what unique items are entered in it. Select any cell in that column, hold down Alt and press the down arrow: Excel produces an alphabetically-sorted list of unique entries in that column.
