Please can you let me know how to create a custom autofilter in my project?
RE: Autofilter
Hello Jassen,
Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Project Advanced course with Best STL.
Thank you for your question regarding creating a custom autofilter in your project.
1) Click the autofilter drop-down button on the right side of whichever column you wish to filter.
2) From the Filters drop-down select Custom
3) On the left choose the test that will be applied to the data
4) Set the value on the right
5) A second criteria is then entered in the same way
6) Choose either And or Or
7) Choosing And will mean that both criteria has to be true for a task or a resource to be displayed
8) Choosing Or will mean that either criteria can be true for a task or resource to be displayed
9) To apply the filter click OK
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Rodney

MS Project tip:Formatting Bar TextTo display notes or resource initials on the Gantt chart bars, choose Format, Bar Styles and the Text tab. Select the position you want to show the text i.e. Top or Inside etc, then choose the field name you are looking for from the drop down arrow. Type the first letter of the name to get quickly to the top of the letter range. Click OK. |
