Split database
When the database is split so that a 'back-end' file is created housing the tables, is there a way to reverse the process and 'unsplit' the database so that there is only 1 main file as before?
RE: Split database
Hi Will,
Thank you for your question.
I have looked within Access and cannot see a way of achieving this.
However, I will talk with my other Access colleagues and search some forums.
If we come up with anything I will email you.
Regards
Simon
RE: Split database
Hello Will,
Further to your question on un-splitting a database.
One way of getting things back the way they were is by importing the tables from the backend to the frontend
database. You will have to delete the linked versions of the tables and rename the imported tables to the correct names.
I would suggest you make a backup of your backend and frontend databases before trying this.
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.

Rodney
