RE: critical paths
Hello Lisa,
Hope you enjoyed your Microsoft Project 2010 Introduction course with Best STL.
Thank you for your question regarding how to show the critical path/tasks in Project.
Firstly, a little background... new tasks entered for a project will appear in the Gantt chart as blue in colour. In order to view the critical tasks which are on the critical path (start date to end date of your project) you must select the Format ribbon on the Gantt Chart Tools contextual tab. In this ribbon you will find a group called Bar Styles which contains a check box which can be selected for showing Critical Tasks.
Critical tasks will then appear in a red colour on the Gantt chart. Try it!
I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.
If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?
Have a great day.
Regards,
Rodney
