Setting a start date for a new project using a template
Hello
Can you please remind me how to set a start date for a new project using an already assembled template?
Thanks
Shamim
RE: Setting a start date for a new project using a template
Hi Shamim
Thank you for your question. You can access the Adjust Dates button by turning on the Analysis toolbar. Go to View > Toolbars > Analysis
When you click Adjust dates and enter a new date MS Project will move the project to the date you set, it will also re-calculate any constraints in the plan so that slack (float) is also preserved.
I hope this helps - let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,
Andrew
